Lola Loustaunau, Graduate Student Employee
Lola primarily works assisting LERC faculty on different research projects. She also collaborates providing assistance when needed in other LERC activities, such as conferences, trainings, summer school, etc.,


Deb Mailander, Department Manager
Deb is LERC’s Department Manager and primary office management contact for LERC. She is responsible for personnel matters, budget oversight, personal service contracts, pre-award grant administration, facilities and IT matters, and other general departmental administration. Deb also contributes to special research and planning projects.


Christy McElroy, Accountant
Christy is LERC’s accountant and travel coordinator.  She is responsible for financial tracking and reconciliation, grant award administration, accounts receivable (invoicing), accounts payable, and travel processing and reimbursements. She also prepares financial management reports and is responsible for LERC’s year-end and beginning budget processes for the department.


Sarah Pishioneri, Student Assistant
Sarah is LERC’s student worker. She assists faculty and staff with program planning and coordination, research and data collection, and general office upkeep.


Leigh Roberts, Communications and Outreach Specialist
Leigh is responsible for preparing communications about LERC to both University of Oregon and external audiences. This includes printed materials such as program brochures and reports, as well as electronic newsletters, releases, and managing our website and social media content. Leigh also assists with conference preparation, special events, materials, and other projects.


Nikki Rudiger, Portland Program Administrative Specialist
Nikki is the Portland Office’s administrative assistant. She provides staff support for the Portland faculty’s education and outreach programs. As such, she helps develop and prepare materials for programs and grant-funded projects, arranges for facilities and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Portland office.


Jennifer Smith, Eugene Program Administrative Specialist
Jenn is LERC’s program administrative support specialist and coordinates many of the education and outreach programs for the Eugene office, including our annual summer school conference.  She also administers the flow of LERC’s programs from set up to close out and maintains our contacts database.  In addition, she  provides administrative support for grants and other special projects.
