Since its inception in 1977, the Labor Education and Research Center at the University of Oregon has been dedicated to the presence of a strong, inclusive union movement as an integral element of a just and democratic society.  By integrating education, research, and public service, our Labor Center helps to ensure that workers have the skills and support that they need to participate meaningfully in their workplaces and communities.  Our partners include labor unions and labor professionals, policy makers, university academics, community and civic organizations, and many others throughout the Pacific Northwest who are interested in issues related to work, economic equity, and the employment relationships  more…
